Music and dance have long been at the heart of life for Tove Redeby, aka DJ Arctic Fox. Her relationship with music was formed first as a dancer, experiencing sound through the body and discovering the extraordinary places music can take us, individually and together. With a deep love and reverence for movement as medicine, she experiences music as a living space where the human can meet the divine – where we can connect with and dance to the rhythm of our own inner drum.The Heartbeat of the Divine Never Skips a Beat.Her musical world bridges the primal pulse of life and the vast possibilities of electronic sound – the worldly and otherworldly, the tender and fierce, the playful and transcendent. Just as life refuses to fit neatly into categories, neither does Arctic Fox’s music. Less interested in defining music by genre and more interested in following how it feels in the body and in the dance – what it awakens, what it moves, and where it wants to go.
Her sets are rooted in earthy rhythms and deep embodied bass that moves through the bones, weaving organic sound, medicine music, playful grooves, and the unexpected. For Arctic Fox, the dance floor is a living, co-created space. The DJ may guide the musical arc, but the journey belongs to everyone in the room. She loves the full arc of a dance – from the slow and spacious to the wild and ecstatic; from the thinking mind into the wisdom of the body.Relatively new to DJing, Arctic Fox brings to the decks the same curiosity and intuition that have always shaped her relationship with music and dance. She listens to the music and she listens to the dancers, allowing intuition, the energy in the room, and the unfolding moment to lead the way. She is at home in ecstatic dance, ceremony, intimate gatherings, celebrations, and epic events. The container changes; the relationship to music does not.There are no rules to music – just like there are no rules to dancing or to life itself.

About Tove

Tove is a Swedish explorer, wildly turned Canadian – shaped by northern landscapes, a wide range of dance and forest floors, the call of the wild, and a lifelong curiosity about this strange and beautiful experience of being alive. Nature and dance have always been both sanctuary and playground. Fiercely independent and a free spirit, she is drawn to wildness and stillness, adventure and quiet, and has never been particularly interested in following the well-tread path.She moves through life guided by curiosity, intuition, and lived experience more than theory, with a willingness to explore – inwardly and outwardly – while staying rooted in being present with what is, as it is. And, of course, guided by music.She loves creating spaces where exploration and liberation can happen – where people can express, connect, and experience their own freedom. As Arctic Fox, she does that through music and dance. At the heart of it is love – for life, for music, for dance, and for what becomes possible when we move together.Her curiosity has taken her through places and people, consciousness and spirituality, mystery and the unknown, and the many ways of being human. Beneath it all is a deep reverence for life itself – for its mystery, its sacredness, and the freedom to discover our own way through it.
